We played our first show in New York last week. In short, it was fabulous. We loved the pizza, the beer, the new friends who came to see us, the old friends who came to see us, the sound guy, the getting lost and having to cross the Brooklyn Bridge an extra time, and our new hats we bought at a truck stop--we loved it all. We did lose a few things along the way. We lost $1.50 in the Quarter machine at Love's somewhere in Virginia. We lost two days of sleep. Ben Keller lost part of a tooth. And Matt lost his musical virginity. Obviously, we're going back. Soon. We'll try and get on somebody's schedule ASAP. And we'll be hitting up our friends (old and new) up for available floor space.
